Charcot's douche - jet shower, in which a naked patient is directed to the body of a naked patient at a distance of 3–4 m from the shower chair, first with a fan and then with a compact stream. They act from the feet to the head first on the front and then on the side and back surfaces of the body. At the same time avoid contact of the compact stream on the head, genitals, mammary glands, spinal column. Then the jet is successively directed to the limbs and to the stomach with a fan.

Contraindications
Charcot's douche is not recommended for coronary heart disease; angina voltage III FC; diseases of the respiratory system; urolithiasis; calculous cholecystitis; the second half of pregnancy; hysteria; atherosclerosis of cerebral vessels; skin diseases.
