The Ust-Kachka resort has developed a program for the rehabilitation of oncological patients - this is a whole system of medical and psychological measures aimed at adapting to the new conditions of vital activity of the body resulting from the disease and treatment of a malignant tumor.
Rehabilitation programs with the appointment of various procedures are carried out by medical specialists - oncologist, physical therapist, exercise therapy doctor, dietician and others.
The basis of rehabilitation is an individual approach to each patient, taking into account the form, stage of the neoplasm, age characteristics, psychological state of the patient and associated diseases.
The main condition for the appointment of rehabilitation to cancer patients is the absence of recurrence and tumor metastasis.
Taking into account the numerous wishes of our guests at the resort, a rehabilitation program was developed for patients with cancer.
During rehabilitation in oncology, such sanatorium and resort factors are useful, which strengthen the immune system, improve metabolism, and improve the psychological and physical condition of patients. These include:
• Climatotherapy and landscape therapy;
• Diet therapy;
• Drinking treatment with mineral waters;
• Terrenkur (measured physical activity in the form of walking, climbing in mountainous terrain on certain, marked routes);
• Occupations in the pool;
• Indifferent isothermal baths.
In combination with a medication, spa treatment improves the general condition of patients, restores impaired functional parameters, increases efficiency, helps to distract from a severe stressful situation.

Any disease is easier to prevent than to cure - this statement also applies to oncological diseases, so the resort has developed two diagnostic programs:
The complex diagnosis includes:
• Consultation of the doctor (in the direction of the study)
• Sampling
• Ultrasound, ECG
In cancer patients, persistent organic and functional disorders caused by the consequences and complications of surgical, radiation and chemotherapeutic, and hormonal treatment of tumors are often observed. Observed complications of the system hematopoiesis (anemia, moderately expressed leykotrombotsitopenii), lesions of the skin and mucous membranes (radiation ulcers, rektity, cystitis), disturbances in the system of external respiration (radiation pneumonitis, residual effects empyema, digestive organs, gastritis gastric stump, dyskinesias intestines, chronic colitis and enterocolitis). Quite often, especially in endometrial, breast, colon cancer, along with arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis, endocrine-metabolic disorders (obesity, diabetes, ovarian dysfunction, hypothyroidism) occur.
A common phenomenon for all oncological patients can be considered the presence of functional disorders of the nervous system, as a result of severe emotional stress caused by obtaining information about the tumor character of the disease, staying in a specialized hospital, the consequences of extensive surgeries, sometimes involuntary crippling, and long-term chemotherapy. , hormone therapy and radiation treatment. It should be emphasized that drug therapy of tumors and radiation therapy can cause vegetodistonic and asthenic reactions. Treatment for concomitant diseases for patients with all forms and localizations of tumors that have undergone radical treatment and who do not have a return of the disease (relapses and metastases) is possible only after consulting an oncologist.
The attending physician of the sanatorium for each cancer patient is an individual rehabilitation program. The program may include: drinking treatment with mineral waters, phytotherapy and immunomodulators, diet therapy and enotherapy (vinolechenie), physical therapy on an individual program. According to indications, the program may include: iodine-bromine, marine, phyto baths, aromatherapy, therapy in a speleoclimatic chamber; microclysters with mineral water, psychocorrection and psycho training.
ABSOLUTE CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Many natural physical factors (medicinal mud, peat, ozokerite, hot baths and showers, radon, sulphide waters, general ultraviolet radiation, heliotherapy, the latter - especially in the southern resorts in spring and summer), as well as general physical therapy significantly stimulate the growth of malignant tumors and cause the progression of the main process.
Therefore, they are absolutely contraindicated for all oncological patients, regardless of the end of treatment.
Not subject to sanatorium treatment:
• patients of the II group of oncologic dispensary registration who are subject to radical treatment, including those who have not completed adequate treatment;
• patients of the III group of oncologic dispensary registration with suspected recurrence or metastasis of the tumor, until this suspicion is rejected;
• patients of the IV group of oncologic dispensary registration (with a long gone tumor process, subject to symptomatic treatment only).
Sanatorium-resort treatment is contraindicated in case of severe consequences of antitumor therapy:
* pronounced post-resection disorders after radical treatment of gastric cancer;
* lack of body weight more than 10 kg;
* severe forms of thyroid and parathyroid failure after parathyroidectomy;
* severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency;
* lymphatic edema of limbs III-IV degrees;
* recurrent erysipelas on the background of secondary lymphedema of the extremities, * pronounced side effects of chemotherapy.
